LEGO Ultra Agents

LEGO Ultra Agents

LEGO Ultra Agents was a discontinued action theme that ran from 2014 to 2015, focusing on an elite team of agents using high-tech gear to protect Astor City from a wide range of super villains, and was notable for integrating physical play with a digital app experience.

Theme Overview

The theme was considered an update to the previous LEGO Agents line and featured a strong narrative that played out across 14 unique construction sets and an interactive comic book app.

Storyline: The Ultra Agents, led by veteran Agent Solomon Blaze (a returning character from the LEGO Galaxy Squad theme), battled "disaster-themed" villains like Infearno (fire), Tremor (earthquakes), and Toxikita (toxic spills). The main antagonist was AntiMatter, a corrupted former agent whose staff could turn citizens into evil clones.

App Integration: Each set included "AppBricks"—special LEGO elements that could be scanned using a free iOS and Android app to unlock new missions, clues, and secret build instructions, enhancing the play experience.

Design Aesthetic: The Ultra Agents' vehicles had a consistent futuristic color scheme of black, silver, and transparent blue, while the villains' vehicles matched their individual color and elemental themes.
